The New NERIS Standard: How EPR is Preparing for a Smooth Transition

The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) plans to replace NFIRS with a new National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) platform by 2025. The new standard is set to modernize how emergency response agencies collect and share data using a secure, cloud-hosted system. It aims to create a unified platform for reporting and analyzing fire, hostile, and disaster events.
